ALEXANDRIA, Va. (VDOT) -- This week's Virginia Department of Transportation scheduled daytime lane closures and traffic shifts that are in effect after 8 a.m.

I-95 widening project

Furnace Road (Route 611) East OR West
When: Tuesday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
What: Single lane closed (Flaggers to direct alternating traffic)
Where: Furnace Road (Route 611) east OR west, at I-95 south
Why: Bridge work

I-95 North
When: Monday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to noon
What: Right lane closed
Where: I-95 north from the Route 1 on-ramp to one mile south of Exit 166, Fairfax County
Parkway (Route 7100)
Why: Wall and bridge work

I-95 South day Work
When: Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
What: Right lane closed
Where: I-95 south from Exit 166, Fairfax County Parkway (Route 7100) to Exit 160, Gordon

Dulles Connector Road (Route 267) West day Work

I-495 HOT Lanes

45-Day Beltway Ramp Closure, Ongoing
The I-495 south exit ramp (Exit 46B) to Chain Bridge Road (Route 123) north is closed for 45 days, weather permitting. The ramp closure is necessary for the HOT Lanes crews to build
bridge piers for the new HOT Lanes access from Westpark Drive to the Beltway. Crews will reconfigure the ramp and build two drainage facilities for the HOT Lanes Project and Tysons
