WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- If you bought a Snuggie, the blanket with sleeves sold on infomercials, you may be getting a check in the mail for $8.25.

At first, it looks like a rebate check, but read the fine print. It says if you endorse and cash the check, you are signing up for a marketing service called "Great Fun." Then, your credit card will be charged $149.99. That subscription will renew annually unless you cancel it with Great Fun.

People who bought the PedEgg and Aqua Globes watering system may also receive these checks.

If you have already cashed the check, contact your credit card and tell them you do not want this service and do not want to honor the fee.

You should also call Great Fun at 1-866-709-4170 and speak with a representative to cancel your membership.
