LEESBURG, Va. (AP) -- Fire officials say two firefighters were hurt in a three-alarm blaze at a car wash in Leesburg.

The fire was reported about 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Catoctin Circle. Mary Maguire, Loudoun County fire department spokeswoman, says crews arrived to find heavy black smoke coming from the structure.

The fire was extinguished in about an hour.

The firefighters were not seriously hurt. The cause of the blaze, which caused extensive damage to the car wash, is under investigation.
