FAIRFAX, Va. (WUSA)-- Fairfax County Police are accusing six Northern Virginia men of soliciting two teenage boys over the internet for sex.
Four of the men are also charged with meeting a 14-year-old boy from Fairfax County in Springfield and having sex with him.
This is another reminder of just how important it is to keep an eye on what teens are doing on the internet. A Fairfax County mom saw the alleged sexual solicitations on her son's computer and called the police.
John Fleck, 23, of Burke and Jusin Ayers, 27, of McLean are accused of soliciting sex from a minor. Broy Klein, 26, of Reston; Gregory Holder, 45, of Alexandria; Thomas Minnehan, 21, of Falls Church and Colin Fitzgerald, 25, of Prince William County, are all accused of soliciting and having sex with the 14-year-old. A seventh man, Eric Mintzer, 27, of Springfield, already pleaded guilty in federal court to enticing a minor.
The arrests came after an investigation that started last December, when the boy's mom alerted police.
Authorities say they decided to publicize the men's names and pictures because the fear there may be more victims out there.
They're asking people to take a hard look and let them know if they have any reason to be suspicious.
