WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- Mayor Fenty says he's doing great health wise and recently achieved personal best in his triathlon and marathon events.
He's heading for certain re-election next year, unless he self destructs before then. Fenty already has $2 million in the bank with more on the way for his campaign, thus discouraging most would-be challengers.
But his close supporters and others are asking what's wrong with the Mayor these days?
He's refusing to share some of the 86 complimentary Nats tickets with the DC Council. He won't even address the issue.
Until recently, he wasn't saying why or how his administration was donating a surplus fire truck to a Dominican Republic town. His Attorney General advised administration officials to boycott a DC Council hearing on the matter.
In yet another area, reporters complain that inquiries to DC government agencies are being directed to the Mayor's Communications office, where they often fail to get a returned call.
The Mayor says he loves the media, isn't thinking about baseball tickets, and is busy running the government.
