Police Investigate Leesburg Gun Store Break-In

LEESBURG, Va. (WUSA) -- Police have arrested one man and are looking for a second suspect still on the loose after an overnight burglary of a gun store.

Officials tell 9NEWS NOW the incident occurred around 3:30 Wednesday morning. Officers responding to an alarm found broken glass at Loudoun Guns on Industrial Court. Police pursued suspects running from the scene. One person was taken into custody, and some evidence was recovered at the scene.

Police arrested Anthony Rumont Roberts, 20, of Middleburg. Roberts faces a variety of charges including burglary, grand larceny, concealing stolen firearms, grand larceny with intent to sell or distribute stolen property, obstruction of justice, and destruction of property. He is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center pending arraignment.

Police are also looking for a second suspect, whom they describe as a man who is 5'2" to 5' 6" tall, weighing about 150 pounds, and last seen wearing an orange ski mask and dark clothing.

Officials say an active investigation is still underway at the scene and Loudoun County Sheriff's Deputies are assisting in the search for the suspects. At this time they are still taking inventory of what may have been taken from the gun store.
