Herndon Fatal Fire Is Ruled A Murder-Suicide

FAIRFAX, VA (WUSA)-- Fairfax Police and Fire investigators have determined that the deaths of two people in a house fire were the result of a murder/ suicide.

Police identified the victims as Chi-Lin Chen, 55, who died as a result of stab wounds and Ho Bih Chen, also 55, who died in the fire.

On Thursday , April 2, police were called to the 12100 block of Eddyspark Drive around 4:40 a.m. on April 2, for a report of heavy fire on a two-story residence.

The body of the victims were found in separate upstairs bedrooms.

Neighbors told 9NEWS NOW that the couple had lived in the area for approximately 20 years.
