Police Search for Stolen Cruiser

DUMFRIES, Va. (WUSA) - Prince William County Police are investigating the theft one of their own vehicles, a former police cruiser that was stolen from the Prince William County Fleet Shop, located at 14809 Dumfries Road. The incident occurred in the afternoon on Thursday March 5.

The stolen vehicle is a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria, 4-door, dark blue in color. The vehicle did not have license plates. Police say the former police cruiser has been stripped of the all police emergency lights and siren equipment. The only noticeable item left on it is the spot light.

There are no suspect descriptions at this time.
