REAGAN NATIONAL AIRPORT (WUSA9) -- A spokesperson at Reagan National Airport says Airport Operations and Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority responded to unattended item on the ticketing level. The suspicious item was reported at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday.
The area was cordoned off. The concourse level remained open and flight operations proceeded as normal.
Later, we were told that vehicle traffic was returning to normal on the ticketing level and operations have returned to normal.
