ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA9) -- 95 Express Lanes representatives say crews will start work on a retaining wall along I-395 north this week. The wall "will ultimately support the new sound wall along Stevenson [Avenue] for the 95 Express Lanes," according to reps.
Crews will place temporary concrete barriers along Stevenson Avenue near work zones.
Reps say during the day, the barriers will be hauled in along Stevenson and placed along the road "to allow for a safe working area for the retaining wall crews."
Surrounding communities have been notifies, say reps.
