WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The District's state athletic governing body (DCSAA) confirmed to WUSA 9 sports anchor Dave Owens that two complaints against Friendship Collegiate Academy have been filed with their office. Both complaints involve recruiting.
Clark Ray, Director of Athletics for Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) says there are two complaints: one from Wilson High School and one from DCIAA.
Ray would not elaborate on the specifics of the complaints but said they were submitted in early May.
Ray says his office notified Friendship Collegiate of the complaints and requested information them.
"Our office has received the information from Friendship and will be delivering a finding of fact ruling on or around June 10th," says Ray.
What Friendship Collegiate's possible punishment is if found in violation is yet to be determined.
"The goal of the state association is to make sure all entities are in compliance and if they're not we have to determine what the appropriate punishment is," says Ray.
