WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- DC Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that took the life of 45-year-old Tracey Varien Avent of NE D.C.
On Thursday, at about 5:49 p.m. Avent was driving a 2006 Suzuki GSX 750 motorcycle when he suddenly made an abrupt stop causing him to fall off the bike and collide with a 2006 Ford Focus.
DC Fire and EMS personnel arrived at the 2600 block of Naylor Road, Southeast D.C. and transported the man to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
