HUGHESVILLE, Md. (WUSA) -- James Bradford Harrison, Jr., 44, is behind bars after taking copper pipes from a house that was under construction.
On the evening of Sept. 29, Charles County Police responded to a burglary and theft at the 7000 block of Quicktree Place. The builder said someone entered the house and stole copper pipes, police informed in a press release.
A witness was able to provide a partial tag number and the officer was able to determine that the car owner lived in St. Mary's County. The officer arrived at the address linked to the car and found cooper pipes in the vehicle.
Harrison, of Charlotte Hall, was charged with second-degree burglary, theft and destruction of property.
The copper pipes were returned to the owner.
