Police Release Photos Of Burglary, Theft Suspects

DAMASCUS, Md. (WUSA) -  Photos of suspects involved burglary and theft incidents in the Damascus area were released by police on Wednesday.

Police are asking the public's help in identifying the suspects in the the incidents that took place Sept. 17-18 in the overnight hours.

These suspects are believed to have committed the following crimes:
• August 31, 600 block of Hillsboro Drive in Silver Spring - auto theft (key left in vehicle)
• September 17-18, 24300 block of Newbury Road, Damascus area - burglary (unlocked door) and auto theft (key obtained in home)
• September 17-18, 10010 block of Damascus Hill Court, Damascus area - theft from unlocked vehicle, use of stolen credit card.

The five unknown suspects were photographed on security cameras at a Gaithersburg convenience store.
Police remind residents to lock their vehicle and garage doors (interior and exterior) because unlocked doors are easy targets for these suspects.
