WASHINGTON,D.C. (WUSA) - The death on Sunday of the National Zoo's six-day-old panda cub has saddened zoo visitors and staff, as well as those around the world who were excited by the birth.

Dr. Don Moore, the Zoo's Associate Director of Animal Care Sciences, talked with Derek McGinty on Monday about what is known now, and will be known, about the cub and its brief life. See the above video for their conversation.
