WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- You have a chance to put on your 1980s costume and support the animals at the Smithsonian's National Zoo.
Friends of the National Zoo are hosting the first 80s dance party with proceeds going towards animal care and conservation science. Rock-N-Roar takes place September 27 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the National Zoo. Popular local band Gonzo's Nose and a DJ will perform.
There will also be a costume contest which could win you breakfast at the Zoo's Bird House.
Tickets cost $15 for Fonz members and $20 for non-members. Parking is an additional fee. You must be 21 years old or older to attend.
