LAUREL, Md. (WUSA) -- The Intercounty Connector hasn't been fully open even a year yet, but there are new problems with two bridges on the highway.
The Washington Examiner reports the bridges have hair-line cracks in them. One of those bridges carries the ICC over Route 29.
The state blames a miscalculation by contractors. It insists the highway is safe.
The cracks will have to be repaired. Hair-line cracks were found in three other bridges earlier this year.
