WASHINGTON, D.C. ( WUSA)--- With the nominating conventions over, and two months remaining in this year's presidential campaign, President Obama may have succinctly captured the mood of millions of television viewers when he said in his acceptance speech Thursday night, "If you're sick of hearing me say 'I approve this message,' so am I."

The parent company of WUSA9 also owns the newspaper USA Today, which has partnered with Fact Check.Org to create an online site where voters can check the accuracy of those ads.

Political Ad Tracker allows visitors to see the ads, read the transcripts of the ads, and the read an analysis of the representations made in those ads.

Site visitors can also rate the ads for believability and impact. 9News  will be using the device throughout the remainder of the campaign to check the accuracy of political ads as they surface on the airwaves.
