(WUSA) -- A new ramp connecting the eastbound Dulles Access Road to the Beltway opens on Saturday.

Right now, you have to merge onto the Toll Road and cut over several lanes in about half a mile. But starting Saturday, you'll be able to get on the Beltway directly from the Airport Access Road.

It's a great thing for people coming from the airport and it's a side effect of the 495 Express Lanes project. Those lanes will open at the end of this year and you'll eventually be able to reach those from the Airport Access Road as well.
