WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA) -- A man who allegedly assaulted a woman on Tuesday evening before taking her car and crashing it into a lamp post in Woodbridge is wanted on several charges.
Prince William County Police are looking for 39-year-old Clayton Mack Holly, whose last known address was in Woodbridge. Holly is accused of assaulting a woman after an argument. At one point, Holly reportedly took the woman's phone but she was able to get it back and call police.
Holly is also accused of getting the woman's laptop and car keys before leaving the home on Gilbert Road in Woodbridge. Holly allegedly slammed the laptop down on the ground, then fleeing in the woman's vehicle.
Police officers later found the car had crashed into a lamp post on Glendale Drive and damaged a lawn. Witnesses told police that the driver fled on foot.
Authorities say evidence at the scene confirmed the driver was Holly, who police are still looking for at this time.
Multiple warrants are out for Holly who is wanted for 2 counts of grand larceny, 2 counts of destruction of property, 1 count of assault & battery, 1 count of unauthorized use of vehicle, 1 count of hit & run and 1 count of driving on a revoked license.
Holly is described as a black male, 5'8" tall and 180 pounds, with a medium build, short black hair, brown eyes and a beard. Police released a photo of Holly, without a beard, from November 2011.
