BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (AP) - Free lemonade is on tap in the southern West Virginia town that bills itself as "Nature's Air-Conditioned City" following a day of 90-degree heat.

The Greater Bluefield Chamber of Commerce will serve free lemonade in Bluefield on Thursday. Lemonade also will be served across the border in Bluefield, Va.

The chamber has served free lemonade after the thermometer hits 90 degrees for more than 70 years.

National Weather Service meteorologist Chris Matta tells the Bluefield Daily Telegraph that the temperature reached 90 degrees at 2:43 p.m. Wednesday.
