Jeep Liberty (U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration)
WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- Chrysler expands the recall of its Jeep Liberty vehicles.
The American car manufacturer has added another 137,000 of its 2006 and 2007 models.
The lower control arm in the rear suspension can rust, break and cause a possible crash.
This brings the total number of recalled Jeep Liberty SUVs to nearly 350,000.
Chrysler says it will replace the parts for free if needed.
