WASHINGTON (AP) - The FBI says it's received hundreds of tips on a former D.C. elementary school teacher accused of producing child pornography since adding him to its list of "10 Most Wanted Fugitives."
The FBI last month added Eric Justin Toth to the list. Toth taught at a private elementary school on the grounds of the Washington National Cathedral.
He lost his job in June 2008 after another teacher found sexually explicit photographs on a school camera in Toth's possession.
Ronald Hosko is special agent in charge of the criminal division at the FBI's Washington field office. He tells The Associated Press on Tuesday that the FBI pursues every lead it can and even devoted significant resources to a search in South America before determining the person in question was not Toth.
