WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- A man charged with killing his 91-year-old socialite-wife inside their Georgetown home now faces more serious charges.
A grand jury indicted Albrecht Muth on first-degree murder charges.
Muth, who claims to be a general in the Iraqi army, is accused of beating 91-year-old Viola Drath to death back in August. He was initially charged with second degree murder.
Muth has denied killing his wife.
