MANASSAS, Va. (WUSA) -- A former Manassas teacher has been charged with sexually abusing a child Wednesday, for incidents that allegedly happened in the mid 90's, police said. 

Stefon Rodney Christian, 48, of Manassas is facing four counts of Forcible Sodomy against a juvenile, police said. 

"Manassas City Police recently investigated allegations regarding sexual assaults stemming from the mid 1990s, involving a former Manassas City school employee. The victim, now an adult, came forward and advised police of the alleged sexual abuse spanning from 1993 until 1997," police said in a news release.
