WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- A huge recall for Ford pickup truck drivers. One million of them are being singled out for faulty gas tanks.
This impacts the car company's best selling F-series pick up trucks. The straps that hold the fuel tank could rust and allow the tank to come loose and drag.
Here are the affected models:
*1997-2003 F-150s
*1997-1999 F-250s
*2002-2003 Lincoln Blackwood trucks
Ford says there have been three reported fires and one injury.
Dealers will fix the problem straps for free.
