WHEATON, Md. (WUSA) -- A Former Montgomery County Police Sergeant pleaded guilty to payroll fraud Monday, the Maryland State's Attorney's office said.

Jacqueline Davey, 39, was charged back in March, 2010, for altering her time sheet to reflect more than $10,000 more in pay than she actually earned, police said.

The judge found Davey guilty of a felony theft scheme of more than $500. She was forced to pay back $5,000 in restitution charges Monday.
