(WUSA) -- After a tumultuous week that included a formal protest by Dunbar leading to a DCPS investigation that concluded Ballou used an ineligible player, H.D. Woodson restored order to the District's football season with a 44-12 victory over Dunbar in the "Turkey Bowl."
Quarterback Terron Buchanan accounted for three touchdowns (two passing) and completed 6 of 10 passes for 91 yards.
The Warrior defense, which carried Woodson most of the year was dominant again Thursday. Senior De'Jon Wilson was defensive MVP with an interception, 8 tackles, including five tackles for loss.
The title was the school's 11th overall and third in a row.
