OXON HILL, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police say a homeowner has fatally stabbed an individual who allegedly tried to break into his Oxon Hill home and that the incident was a result of a personal dispute between acquaintances.
Police spokesman Cpl. Henry Tippett says officers were called to the 3100 block of Brinkley Road around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, police found a man suffering from stab wounds.
The man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police later identified the individual as 25-year-old Jeremy C. McWilliams of Temple Hills.
