Ingmar Guandique now has until February 1, 2011 to file a motion for a new trial, according to DC court documents.

Tuesday, a judge ordered that Guandique would get an extension of time to file motion for a new trial.

Monday, a jury found Guandique, a Salvadoran immigrant, guilty of murdering Washington intern Chandra Levy in 2001.
