STERLING, Va. (WUSA9) -- A 23-year-old man has been arrested for inappropriately touching two women inside a Dulles Town Center women's bathroom.
Meredith S. Wyatt has been charged by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office with five counts of simple assault, officials said. He is connected to a series of assaults, including those at Dulles Town Center.
Wyatt was identified on June 2 after he was connected to an assault that occurred at a grocery store in the 22300 block of S. Sterling Boulevard, officials said.
In this case, a 27-year-old female was in a store when she was approached by an unknown male and the two began conversing, according to officials. At one point the female victim walked away and the subject inappropriately touched her from behind.
The victim verbally confronted the suspect before walking away again, and again inappropriately touched the female from behind.
Further investigation connected Wyatt to two other incidents of assault that occurred at the Dulles Town Center. The first incident was reported on May 14 when a 62-year-old female was inside a women's bathroom at the Dulles Town Center and an unknown male inappropriately touched her from an adjacent stall.
A second incident was reported at 11:30 a.m. on May 30, when a 16-year-old female was in a stall inside a women's bathroom in the mall and an unknown male reached underneath the stall and grabbed her. The subject left after the teenager screamed.
Wyatt was also charged in connection with the May 25 assault where a 57-year-old female was walking in the 200 block of W. Holly Avenue around 4 p.m. when she was grabbed from behind.
Wyatt is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
