STERLING, Va. (WUSA9) -- Virginia State Police have detained young man from the same Sterling home where a drunk teenager was shot and killed one year ago.
Police say the Northern Virginia-Washington, D.C., Internet Crimes Against Children (NOVA-DC ICAC) Task Force executed a search warrant at the home Friday in the 45900 block of Pullman Court related to an ongoing investigation into child porn possession and distribution.
They've now charged Conor Flores, 19, with seven counts of child porn possession.
In March 2013, 16-year-old Caleb Gordley was shot and killed after apparently mistakenly climbing into the home of a neighbor. Police say Caleb thought that he was sneaking into his own home, two doors away. He was tipsy, and friends say he was trying to get back in his room before his dad found out.
Police say the two incidents are not related.
