Man charged in Va. townhouse fire

SPRINGFIELD, Va. (WUSA9) -- Fairfax County fire and rescue officials have charged a man with setting fire to a townhouse in Springfield, Va.

Officials say Eric Donnell Parker, 45, of an unknown address, set fire to the home at 7687 Northern Oaks Court. The fire occurred on Nov. 19, 2013, and resulted in approximately $300 in damage.

No one was injured in the fire. Parker faces charges of burning an occupied dwelling and setting a fire capable of spreading, both felonies.
