SPRINGFIELD, Va. (WUSA9) -- A 46-year-old man has been charged after a townhouse fire in Springfield on Tuesday.

According to officials with the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department, fire investigators charged Eric Donnell Parker with burning or destroying a dwelling house and setting fire to woods, fences, grass, or other items capable of spreading fire on land.
