Six Flags evacuated in Upper Marlboro

UPPER MARLBORO, MD (WUSA9) - Six Flags was evacuated out of an abundance of caution by police in Upper Marlboro Saturday afternoon, said a park representative. 

Prince George's County Police said they were investigating a phoned-in threat that was made around 1:30 p.m. 

After a security sweep, police found nothing suspicious.

Police are looking in to who made the call and the validity of the threat.

The park will be open tomorrow as planned. It is located at in the 13700 block of Central Avenue.
