Man arrested for robbing Md. Papa John's with Taser

SILVER SPRING, Md. (WUSA9) -- Montgomery County police have arrested a man who they say robbed a Papa John's restaurant using a Taser.

Twenty-two-year-old Calvin Coolidge Cannon III has been arrested for the May 29 armed robbery of the Papa John's restaurant located at 1133 East West Highway in Silver Spring.

Police say Cannon used a Taser to obtain an undisclosed amount of money from the restaurant.

Cannon was located and arrested without incident on June 26. A search warrant was executed at Cannon's residence where detectives recovered a Taser, according to police.
