Four cars on fire in Silver Spring garage

SILVER SPRING, Md. (WUSA9) -- Montgomery County fire crews responded to a garage fire Monday morning, where at least four cars were burned.

It happened on the third level of a multi-level garage located at 8530 Cameron Drive.

The four cars have significant damage, according to officials. Firefighters encountered some broken standpipes while fighting the blaze. We're told most of the smoke has cleared.

No injuries have been reported.

According to authorities, the cause of the fire appears to be accidental and started in a mini van.. The damage is estimated at $75,000 to the vehicles and about $25,000 to the building, authorities said.
