Resident taken to hospital after house fire in Va.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- A resident was taken to the hospital with severe burns to the arms and legs after a two-alarm fire at a home in Virginia.

The fire happened on June 10 around 1:30 p.m. at a single family home located in the 17000 block of Larkin Drive. When officials arrived, they found smoke coming from the back of the home, police said.

The resident was taken to the regional burn center for treatment, officials said.

Officials say the fire was accidental.
