Red line shut down between Gallaudet & Fort Totten

You may want to find a backup plan.

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The Red Line will shut down for maintenance starting Saturday between NoMa-Gallaudet U and Fort Totten for 25 days, according to WMATA. 

The SafeTrack project will go through November 22. 

Trains will me be running between Shady Grove and NoMa-Gallaudet every 12-15 minutes with additional trains between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Trains will run every 15 minutes between Fort Totten and Glenmont. Brookland and Rhode Island Avenue stations will be closed.
