WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police in Prince William County have arrested a doctor who they say was writing prescriptions for pain killers without properly performing medical exams to recipients.
Samad Oraee, of McLean, is charged with two counts of prescription fraud, police say. The 53-year-old is a licensed physician at the Neurological Center of Northern Virginia located at 2050 Old Bridge Rd, #200 in Woodbridge.
Prince William County police say the arrest stemmed from the recent Dragon Slayer Operation, which targeted distributers of prescription pain medications and heroin and resulted in more than 60 arrests.
