Police: Woman passed out on PCP while with children

TRIANGLE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Prince William County police have arrested a woman who they say passed out on PCP while she was with two children.

Twenty-five-year-old Tanesha Shawnte Kinard has been charged with two counts of felony child neglect and two counts of child endangerment.

Police say a caller reported an unconscious person in the area of Anchorage Cove and Olde Port Lane in Triangle on February 22 at 10:31 p.m. When police arrived, they found Kinard lying on the ground unresponsive, according to officials.

At the time, police say the woman was walking to a nearby store with two three-year-old boys who were family members. Police took custody of the children while Kinard was transported to a local hospital.

Police say Kinard passed out because she was under the influence of PCP. She was treated for non-life threatening injuries and arrested.
