Police release new photos of bank robbery suspect

NOKESVILLE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police have released additional photos of a man sought in connection with a bank robbery in Nokesville on March 6.

The robbery happened at the Carter Bank & Trust int he 12900 block of Fitzwater Driver at approximately 11:18 a.m.

Employees reported to police that a man entered the bank and approached the teller counter. The man then passed a note demanding money and saying he had a weapon, authorities said.

The man fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. Tuesday, police say that he made his getaway in an older model, two-door Chevrolet S10 pickup truck. Surveillance photos from a nearby business parking lot showed the vehicle, say police.

The suspect is described as a white man, between the ages of 20 and 25. He is around 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds with a thin build and a reddish-mustache.

The man was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with "South Pole" on the back and wearing blue jeans.
