WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police say a man was fatally stabbed late Wednesday night in Prince William County.

Officials were called to the 15000 block of Cloverdale Road in Woodbridge at 11:44 p.m. to investigate the incident. When they arrived, a 44-year-old man was found in the front yard of the residence with a stab wound to the chest, police say.

The victim, identified by police as Alvin Elroy Cannon, of Woodbridge, was transported to an area hospital where he died.

A second victim, identified as a 33-year-old man from Manassas, walked into an area hospital, also with stab wounds to the upper body, and was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say 31-year-old Brandon Curtis Hampton Henry, of no fixed address, was arrested at a residence in the 14400 block of Fillarette Street. He's charged with murder and aggravated malicious wounding.

It is the third murder in Prince William County in 2014, police say.
