The crime started in the 4800 block of Allentown Road near Andrews Air Force Base in Prince George's County. Four suspects robbed the armored vehicle at the Checker's fast food chain around 11:00 a.m. and getaway with the money bag.

"Two Garda employees were in the process of some sort of money drop at Checkers. They were confronted by four suspects, one acts as a getaway driver in a green Jeep," said Lt. Bill Alexander.

Two good Samaritans followed the green Jeep. But the suspects quickly saw the red pickup truck behind them and they start firing at them.
