Police searching for Wells Fargo bank robbery suspect

BETHESDA, Md. (WUSA9) -- Officials are searching for a suspect in connection to a bank robbery in Maryland.

It happened on May 28 around 4:00 p.m. at the Wells Fargo bank located on 7901 Wisconsin Avenue. The suspect went into the bank, passed a note to the teller demanding money and implying he had a gun. The suspect left the bank without getting any money, police said.

Officials describe the suspect as a black male, between the ages of 30 and 40, 5'07 to 5'09 in height and weighs approximately 160 to 180 pounds.
