Police search for Md. bank robbery suspect

CAMP SPRING, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police are looking for a suspect in connection to an armed bank robbery which happened in Maryland.

The robbery occurred on May 29 around 1:35 p.m., at a a bank located in the 6400 block of Allentown Road. The suspect gave a note to the teller demanding money and left with an undisclosed amount, police said.

Police describe the suspect as an African American man between 35 and 40 years old, about 5'6" in height and weighing around 170-200 pounds. He was wearing a Redskins ball cap, black jacket, white shirt and dark pants, police said.
