Police search for Md. bank robbery suspect

ROCKVILLE, Md. -- Police are looking to identify a suspect in connection to a robbery at a Maryland bank.

The robbery happened on January 14 around 3:16 p.m., at the BB&T bank located at 1470 Rockville Pike. The suspect went into the bank, showed a note demanding money and then left after he saw the teller press the bank's alarm button, police said.

The note indicated he was armed.

Police describe the suspect as a 'black male, 5'9 to 5'10 tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a green rain coat, a knit cap, white work gloves with red tips, and sunglasses.'
