WASHINGTON -- Two people who were found dead inside an apartment in D.C. have been identified, police said.
Police were called to investigate the report of trouble inside an apartment in the 1600 block of 17th Street, S.E. at approximately 4:00 p.m. Thursday.
Officers found a man and woman suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency personnel later determined the victims were dead.
Police have identified the deceased as 21-year-old Ervin Phillip Ingraham and 21-year-old Ronnetta Hurley Brown of Southeast D.C.
Two children were found unharmed at the scene and are in the custody of social services.
Police are still looking for the shooters. The police department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for this homicide.
