FOUND: 85-year-old woman from Germantown, silver alert canceled

GERMANTOWN, MD. (WUSA9) - UPDATE: Ruth Bosley has been found safe and reunited with her family. The Silver Alert has been canceled.

Montgomery County police need your help finding Ruth Marie Bosley from Germantown. She is 85-year-old with early signs of dementia.

Police have activated a silver alert.

She was last seen leaving a hair salon on the 4800 block of Boiling Brook Parkway in Rockville around 11:45 a.m. 

She was driving a 2008 Lincoln MKZ with Maryland tag: 7AE7050

Police said Bosley is a white woman with blue eyes and reddish-blond hair. She wears glasses and stands at 5'2" tall and 160 lbs. 

She was wearing a white sweater and black trousers at the time of her disappearance. 

Anyone with information regarding Ruth Bosley’s whereabouts or anyone who sees her vehicle is asked to call 911.
