Md. track coach charged after having sex with a minor

GERMANTOWN, MD (WUSA9) - A high school track coach was charged after police say he had sex with a 14-year-old girl in late August.

Onaje Robinson, 42, was charged with two counts of third-degree sexual offense and one count of second-degree assault. Police say Robinson has been released on bond.

In late August, police say a 14-year-old girl reported that she met Robinson on social media. After communicating for a week, police say the two agreed to meet in person. The victim said she told Robinson she was 14.

On Aug. 20th, police say Robinson drove to the victim's house, picked her up and then drove her to his apartment where they had sex. Around 5 a.m., police say Robinson drove the victim back to her home.

Robinson turned himself into police on Tuesday. Police say he is a track coach at Seneca Valley High School.
